SKF cylindrical roller bearings are available in many designs, series and sizes. Einreihige Zylinderrollenlager sind zur Aufnahme hoher Radiallasten bei hohen Drehzahlen vorgesehen. Lager der Bauform NJ haben zwei feste Borde am Außenring und einen am Innenring. Diese Lager nehmen axiale Verschiebungen in einer Richtung auf. Ein wichtiges Merkmal ist die nicht selbsthaltende (geteilte) Ausführung. Sie erleichtert den Einbau und ermöglicht den Austausch einzelner Lagerkomponenten.
