The 3M™ Silver Cut-Off Wheel is designed for fast cutting of pipes, tubes and flat sheets of stainless steel, mild steel, aerospace alloys and more, in applications such as shipbuilding, rail, machinery manufacturing and general metal fabrication. Incorporating a blend of 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, this cut-off wheel delivers a fast cut with reduced grinding pressure, helping to improve operator comfort while providing long wheel life.

Features:
The 3M™ Silver Cut-Off Wheel features a reinforced resin-bonded construction. It incorporates 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, available in 36+ and 60+ grades, to deliver a fast, consistent cut throughout the life of the wheel. The flat Type 41 design provides precise, straight cuts on a wide range of ferrous metals while requiring less pressure than conventional ceramic abrasive wheels.

Instructions for use:
• Use the wheel only with the original machine flanges.
• Always operate the wheel with the machine guard in place.
• Do not use the wheel after the expiry date marked on the centre ring.
• Do not use the wheel for grinding or deburring operations.
• Replace the wheel if it has been dropped, damaged or exposed to moisture.
• Do not exceed the maximum operating speed of 80 m/s.
